Essential At Home Spa Products for Ultimate Relaxation

If you’re feeling stressed, worn down, and in need of a break, there’s nothing better to rejuvenate yourself than having an at home spa day. With the right at home spa products, you can treat yourself to the perfect day, and feel totally relaxed.

Exfoliating Scrub

One of the most essential at home spa products you need is an exfoliating scrub. You can make a simple one from white sugar (1/2 cup), olive oil (1/4 cup) and coffee grounds (1/2 cup). By applying this all over your body, your skin will feel soft and you’ll smell great.

Healing and Relaxation

There are three major areas of the body where people carry tension: the arms, feet, and lower legs, the neck and shoulders, and the hands and lower arms. For an at home spa day, you can use your favorite essential oil to alleviate your stress and anxiety. If you need energy, try some peppermint. If you need to relieve tension, try lavender. If you need a mood boost, try chamomile.

Facial Steaming

Another one of the essential at home spa products you’ll need for a spa day is a facial steaming. You can prepare one yourself with your favorite essential oil and a pot of boiling water. Put a couple of drops of oil in the pot and put your face 6-12 inches from the water. Your pores will open, your blood circulation will increase and you’ll be able to breathe in a familiar scent.

A Face Mask

You can do wonders for your skin with the right face mask. You can create a simple one with a mashed banana, a tablespoon of honey, and some lemon juice. The potassium and vitamin C in bananas can hydrate and help repair damaged skin.

Cold Eye Compress

Another must for an at home spa day is a cold eye compress, which you can easily do with sliced cucumber. By placing cold cucumbers on closed eyelids, you’ll help reduce puffiness around your eyes and feel refreshed. The added comfort you’ll feel is just a bonus.

An at home spa day can be the perfect way to relax and recharge your batteries. With the right at home spa products, homemade or otherwise, you’ll be able to relax, relieve tension and de-stress.
