We get so excited for this time of year and what better than a holiday poem to help usher in the season? Every year our Director of Team Experience, Lisa Kiebzak, writes an annual holiday poem featuring a mischievous, relaxation-seeking elf! The holiday season is back and so is our little elf. Enjoy this festive and creative poem and have a safe and wonderful holiday season.
As we ride our sleigh into nearly year four,
That slick soapy Elf is soaking once more!
When I came into work the music was hopping!
That Elf had already done most of his shopping!
“Hello”, he shouted with cookie-crumbled glee!
“Would you be so kind as to bring me more tea?
Toasted Caramel Rooibos is my favorite kind.
Add also a truffle, please, if you don’t mind.”
And so I obliged this spa spoiled Elf
Who seizes every opportunity to get down off his shelf.
When I walked in the back with his goodies to eat,
There was the Elf happily soaking his feet!
I took a deep breath and breathed in the scent.
A perfect choice, I see, with Good Vibes you went!
“Yes”, said the Elf, “and I shopped till I dropped!
When I saw all the new stuff I just couldn’t be stopped!
Like scarves from Paris, organic cotton socks,
Humble Bumble bead bracelets, and hair oil for locks.
Like organic face masks, candles, and Hubalou hair wraps,
And Last but not least a Wake eye pillow for Elf naps!”
“No malls for me”, claimed this spa Elf with glee.
“Wake Foot Sanctuary is the place where I choose to be!”
