Kensington Garden Candle – Tisane Votive candles by Tatine are gorgeous little bursts of love and light. We love the Tisane line not just for its look but the poems it comes with somehow perfectly describe the scent. This one’s is: “you’re here with me / surrounded by lily of the valley / to be known is everything / fall asleep with me / with the sun on your face and jasmine in the air.” I’m pawing at spring so I’m obsessed with the Kensington Garden’s lush scent.
Farmer Jane Hand Salves –We practically slather on the salve here at Wake. My personal favorite is the TLC but the Healing Anise (not pictured) and Palmarosa Carrot Seed are equally as nourishing. I just recently moved and my hands were exposed to dust, dirt, tons of hand washing, and moving boxes from one house to another in icy cold weather. My fingers and cuticles were a mess—cracked and bleeding. I kept them bandaged and between washings applied some of the salve and now they’re healed and normal. I continually apply the salves to any dry spots that need some extra special attention. Farmer Jane is local to North Carolina and makes some amazing stuff.
Fox & Beaux Agate Druzy Necklace – Another local favorite, Fox & Beaux, makes my March list with this 14k gold fill and oxidized sterling silver chain paired with an agate druzy and purple glass crystal beads. It’s handmade exclusively for Wake and I’m dazzled by it!
