Did you know that Wake has a beautiful shop as well as a sanctuary? Yes, we aren’t just about foot soaks! As soon as you enter the shop, you feel as if you have been whisked away to an aromatherapy sanctuary. And if you are in our shop for five minutes you are bound to hear a guest walk in and exclaim, “Oh, it smells so good in here!” It just makes us giddy and even more proud of the products we sell. Since we are all about pampering, our products will support you in the best way possible. We carry a wide variety of hand-curated products ranging from all natural soaps and lotions, to body sprays and candles, to beautiful hand-crafted jewelry and foot scrubs. All intended to make you feel amazing and rejuvenated!
We take pride in our selection process as we always have staff test each of our products. (One of the perks of working at Wake!) Most of the goodies we sell are from small companies who care about sustainability. We also love to show our support for our local folks who take pride in their craft so we carry an array of products made right in Asheville and the surrounding areas of Appalachia!
We are over the moon excited by our products and you will often see our staff wandering around the shop testing sprays and applying luxurious shea butter to their hands! They can’t get enough. We wanted to share what all the fuss is about in this blog. We asked several of our staff what their favorite products are and here is what they had to say!

“I LOVE the Muscle Spray because I am always involved in all kinds of physical activities that at times require something soothing and effective for my muscles after the fact! I trail run, jump rope, workout in the gym, swim, and do Spartan Obstacle Course races. Sometimes several of these workouts occur in the same day, at times 7 days a week. I KNOW this muscle spray is A-mazing!!”

“The Leaf + Root Herbal Skin Remedy. I use this salve on everything. Eczema patches, small cuts, bruises: everything! It’s cool, soothing, and it smells much nicer than what you would expect out of something that helps the healing process.”

“Hands-down my favorite product we sell in the shop is the Wake Lavender Whipped Shea. I keep a jar in my car, one beside the kitchen sink, and another in my nightstand I use it after every hand wash and before bed to keep my skin from drying out. I also feel that it’s a must to pack when going on vacation. I use it for sunburns, bug bites, and dry skin.”

“CeeCee & Bee Pacific Ocean Body Scrub! I love this body scrub so much because it does an amazing job of smoothing away rough spots all of over your body. I love that it’s hand crafted and made in small batches, and that it contains only sustainable ingredients including sea salt hand harvested from the Pacific Ocean, real seaweed and pure essential oils. It smells incredible- like you just spent the day at the beach. A portion of their profits also goes to protecting the beaches on the west coast.
